Eric Peters

If you've somehow discovered Eric Peters' music in recent years, consider yourself one of the few, the proud, the blessed.  He's a terrific example of why a program like UTR exists -- Eric has been making great art for over a decade, but has been under-appreciated, even mostly undiscovered.  His sixth studio album Chrome released in August 2009, and even on a shoe-string budget, the album was one of the best of the year (was an Honorable Mention for the Top Gourmet Albums of 2009 here at UTR).

Eric will admit that many of his songs are melancholy, even sad.  Yet it's his gut-wrenchingly honest and vulnerable lyrics that draw the listener in.  UTR Episode #42 had Eric on as a special guest.  UTR is also organizing a special mini-tour with Eric Peters in IL & MI, January 14-25, 2010.
